Description |
Anisocoria, characterized by unequal pupil sizes, carries a broad differential and warrants serious consideration of ophthalmic, as well as neurologic, etiologies1. After a thorough history and physical exam rule out features of serious disease, more benign causes, such as chemical and pharmacologic anisocoria, should be considered. Anticholinergic agents are a well-documented source of mydriasis2. This case features an example of anisocoria due to a common first-line pharmacotherapy for hyperhidrosis: glycopyrronium (Qbrexza). |
