Description |
Neuro-ophthalmic disorders may cause a subjective difference in the brightness perceived by each eye. We have developed a unique, inexpensive clinical device to measure this difference. It differs from previously described methods as it provides simultaneous viewing of a stimulus light for each eye, and is administered in a random, forced-choice format that allows assessment of patient reliability. The goal of this project was to see if this device could isolate a unique brightness disparity value in normal subjects and patients. |
