Abstract |
In a 1990 interview with Everett L. Cooley, Joy Hashimoto (b. 1927) recalls her family. She describes being interned, 1942-1945 in the Granada Relocation Center (later called Amache) in Colorado, attending college one year at Carleton and finishing her degree at North Dakota. Bound with the interivew are a biographical sketch of Dr. Hashimoto and a copy of the convocation address he gave to the graduating class of 1981 of the College of Medicine.
