Asked invasive questions not related to their visits (15%). Refused care entirely (8%). Many masculine (33%) and indigenous (37%) trans people report not seeking medical care out of fear of discrimination (James et al., 2016). 25% of transgender people who want transition-related services also report never receiving them. |
