Description Problem Statement: The COVID-19 Pandemic disrupted traditional workplace dynamics, leading to increased stress and burnout among staff. There was a clear need to address feelings of disconnection and dissatisfaction with job performance. Goal/Aim: To investigate the effectiveness of implementing Commensality Groups as a solution to enhance staff well-being and workplace resilience. Actions: Weekly Commensality Groups were encouraged during lunch breaks in the office, providing a platform for staff to connect, share experiences, and support each other. Facilitators were appointed to guide discussions, and time was allocated during team huddles for group interaction. Staff were encouraged to attend at least three sessions every six months. Summary of Results: Despite initial challenges in coordinating schedules and managing disruptions, weekly Commensality Group sessions proved more feasible and beneficial than monthly gatherings. These sessions fostered a sense of unity, improved morale, and enhanced collaboration among staff members. The simple act of eating together facilitated open communication and strengthened professional relationships, leading to increased job satisfaction and productivity.
