| Description |
Main Street during "The Great Fire" of 1926. North side of Main Street between 2nd and 3rd West. The fire burned everything except the Chronicle office. Settled in 1906, and first called Akin, then Burtner, Melville, and finally Delta, the area owes such of its growth to several irrigation projects and a successful land development campaign. |
