Description |
Archie Dee Jenkins was born in Roosevelt to Samuel Archie and Trena Lacretia McCurdy Jenkins in 1911. He married Clara Murray. He was a farmer and rancher his entire life. He worked in water development in the valley being on the board of the Ashley Valley Reservoir Company. He was a charter member of the Chamber of Commerce and a director of the Federal Land Bank. He was involved with 4-H and the Jr. Livestock Show. He was honored as the Legendary Cowboy during the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo. He passed away November 8, 2000. |
