Description Native American (Ute) women, men, boys, and a girl pose in a row, probably near Montrose (Montrose County), Colorado. Men have braids and wear wide brimmed hats, suits, ties or scarves, suspenders, and woven blankets. One man has a watch fob and another man has a holster and pistol. Women wear fringed shawls or blankets over dresses. Boys wear suits and hats, and a girl wears a calico dress. A house is by a rocky hillside.
