Additional Information |
Image was scanned from (faded) color slide. Note: Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement which emphasizes shape, line and form as well as a minimalist style. While there are numerous schools of Ikebana, the three main schools are: Ikenobō, Ohara and Sōgetsu. The Sōgetsu school was founded 1927 by Sofu Teshigahara. Nageire is a style of arrangement stressing fresh and spontaneous design. It was originally a general term meaning all arrangements that differed from the traditional and formalistic Rikka style.--Wikipedia. |
