Description | Address: 1050 East South Temple, Salt Lake City. Holy Cross Hospital, affiliated with a Catholic religious order, the Sisters of the Holy Cross, included a hospital chapel, dedicated in 1904. The hospital was sold in 1994 and became Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. Most of the old buildings have been completely replaced, but the historic chapel was preserved, and it is now a nondenominational interfaith sanctuary. It has been used for services by different groups, including the Ecclesia Gnostica's Salt Lake parish, known as St. Thomas the Twin Chapel. |
