Correspondence of Marriner S. Eccles related to his 1951 autobiography, Beckoning Frontiers. The letters, all from 1956 and 1957, are primarily requests for copies and comments on its contents as well as Mr. Eccles's replies. Includes a copy of a lecture by Rulon W. Rawson entitled, "Today's thyroidologists and their beckoning frontiers," published in the Journal of Clinical Endrocrinology and Metabolism, issue of November 1956. Rawson had asked Mr. Eccles for permission to use the title of his book in the title of the lecture. |
