Portions of rock buildings at the McPherson Ranch located on the Ute Indian Reservation in southern Uintah County. Jim McPherson began ranching on the Florence Creek around 1890. He befriended outlaws like Butch Cassidy by providing horses, food and lodging if needed. It was sold to the Ute Indians in the 1940's. |
