| Description |
The old Ashley Post Office is located at about 1300 W. 2000 No. on Linford Batty's place. It was established December 27, 1878 and in 1879 Wilbur C. Britt was the first postmaster. It was put together with wooden pegs and squared nails. Mail service continued until 1899. This building now belongs to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. |
