Description |
Middle Meningeal Artery (MMA) embolization is a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH)1. Vision-related complications are rare but may occur secondary to embolic material traveling into the ophthalmic artery and its branches, or indirectly secondary to changes in intracranial pressure or blood flow. |
