Description Ophthalmic effects of pulmonary hypertension and phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors are unclear. PED-5 inhibitors are known to be associated with non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. Its association with maculopathy has not been well-studied. We report a case of presumed sildenafil induced maculopathy in a female patient with pulmonary hypertension.
