The Stansbury Range is located in the eastern part of Tooele County, Utah, in the northeastern part of the Basin and Range Province. The range is 25 miles long and 2 to 10 miles wide. The crest line passes about 5 miles west Grantsville, Utah. The range is considered to be a northward extension of the Onaqui Mountains and is separated from these mountains to the south by a low divide known as Johnson Pass. |
