Description We report a case of oculogyric crisis (OGC) associated with aripiprazole (Abilify). Extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS), including oculogyric crisis (OGC), are side effects of neuroleptics, but rarely occur with newer partial dopamine and serotonin agonists. Aripiprazole has desirable clinical properties, i.e. partial agonist at D2 and 5-HT1A, and antagonist of 5-HT2A receptors, appropriately stimulating or blocking D2 receptors.
