Color images of Personal History album for Wayne Farr's father, Norman R. Farr. (Dec. 10, 1920-Nov. 13, 2006) with some photos as well, mostly black and white. Album includes information about Norman's military career and residences in Ogden and Riverdale. He was in the first graduating class from Ogden high school. Norman was in the navy in 1942, during WWII on USS ATR-80. ATR=Aux. Tug Rescue in the Pacific Campaign. He had to practice evacuating the ship; jumping into ocean to practice entering the water with riflemen on deck to watch for sharks. Album Includes military records. Norman did the research and writing himself. |
