In the high jump, Iverson finished first-place overall. Under the watch of volunteer coach Andrew Levin, Langley Iverson posted a new lifetime-best with a height of 6-0.75, which ranks second all-time in school history. Iverson's performance qualified her for the indoor NCAA National Championships. Junior Brianna LeRoy finished fifth overall in the high jump, posting a new personal-record mark of 5-8.00. In the unseeded pole vault, Theresa Waybright tied for first-place with a height of 11-7.75. In the weight throw event, Cynthia Sanchez led the way for the Utes with a new personal-record distance of 57-03.00. Anneli Stahl posted a 54-10.00. Freshman Destanae Howerton-Davis set a new personal-best with a mark of 52-4.50, which beat her previous personal best by more than four feet. In the high jump, Iverson finished second place overall. Alyssa Johnson led the group, finishing 11th place with a time of 57.42. Ashley Mosley (57.77) and Lauryn McKay (57.89) finished 13th and 15th place. Freshman Rosalie Griffin finished 17th overall with a time of 58.43, respectively for the Utes. Making her first pole vault appearance since the 2009 NCAA Regional meet, Klaudia Rokossa posted a mark of 12-1.50, earning her tenth overall. After finishing seventh in the high jump on Friday, Brianna LeRoy earned 11th place in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.19. In the shot put, Nikkie Rudder led the Utes with a fourth-place finish. Rudder hit a high mark of 45-8.00 on her third throw. Candus Aiello finished tenth with a throw of 41-9.25. Destanae Howerton-Davis set a new personal-best throw with 40-3.25, beating her previous personal-best by three feet. |
