The construction on this old rock meeting house took from 1861-1867 to complete. It was dedicated by Brigham Young and served most residents of the south end of the Salt Lake Valley for many years. It was abandoned in 1913, but reclaimed in 1937 by the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers as a memorial hall near the historic Gardner Village on 7800 South. |
