Description |
Annual May Day Festival of Provo City Schools, held at Provo's North Park (now Sowiette Park) in 1917. The pony & cart were owned by A. Owen Smoot IV (then age 10). The queen from Franklin School was Mabel Peay. Counting the flower girls dressed in light crepe paper, from the left of the cart, 3rd one is Anna Smoot (now Mrs. W.G. Taylor of Orem). On her right, dark paper dress, is Zola Martin (now Mrs. Clyde Sandgren of Provo). |
