A 15-year old male with headache and binocular loss of vision over a 2-week period. Symptoms preceded by flu-like syndrome of fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cervical adenopathy and orthostatic light-headedness. |

Demyelination with reactive astrocytes, macrophage infiltration, oligodendroglial proliferation, and remyelination. |
