Saint Thomas More Catholic Church [02]

Address: 3015 East Creek Road, Sandy, UT. Saint Thomas More Parish was established on November 13, 1981, and held its first services in a mortuary. Then Saint James Episcopal Church offered them space for services. Land for a church campus was purchased in 1982, and a multipurpose center opened in March of 1984. The main church building was constructed in 1993. Decades later, remembering how St. James gave them shelter, they "paid it forward" and shared their space with Saint Anne's Orthodox Church before that community found its own home in 2019.
