Description Staff feedback from the What Matters to You? (WMTY) conversations revealed that were the top concerns. This feedback, when compared with our Better U survey results, further highlighted these issues. The primary concerns identified were fear of retaliation, communication barriers, burnout, and varying levels of expectations. Recognizing these top concerns are fundamental to well-being, our team implemented a weekly huddle program aimed at addressing each issue. In response, we distributed an anonymous Qualtrics survey for colleagues to rate each concern from 1 (most important) to 12 (least important). Based on the results, our weekly huddles addressed concerns, provided feedback, brainstormed solutions, and secured leadership support. We plan to reevaluate and refine our approach through quarterly PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles. Currently, we are in the PDSA cycle phase, testing various strategies to identify the most effective approaches for enhancing psychological safety, choice & autonomy, and camaraderie & teamwork. Although we are still in progress, early feedback suggests that the creation of an accountability system, leadership support, and collective problem-solving are fostering connections and strengthening team resilience.
