Flaming Gorge Reservoir Area. Looking upstream on the Green River, which is at flood stage, into the setting sun at Red Canyon. Red Canyon is about 1,600 feet deep and the waters of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir will rise several hundred feet in this canyon following completion of the Dam.
