Description |
Address: 12537 West U.S. Highway 6, Elberta, UT. The St. Francis of Assisi parish in Provo initially ministered to Elberta's Catholics, many of them Hispanic farm workers. In 1986, the San Isidro Mission was established under the San Andres parish in Payson. Property was purchased by the diocese in 1983 and building began in 1986, dedicated on April 19, 1987. The mission center was expanded and dedicated in 2008 by Bishop John Wender. St. Francis of Assisi, now in Orem, once again serves the mission. |
