Vocalizations of a captive Northern Flying Squirrel
Captive Northern Flying Squirrel recorded at the Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center; three juvenile squirrels were in a large cage; squirrels were all approximately three months of age; a small tape recorder was left overnight in the cage with the squirrels; squirrel vocalized during late evening hours; recorded with a Sony PCMD50 recorder using internal microphones in a stereo X-Y pattern at a 44.1 kHz/16 bit sampling rate
