Katherine Fenton Nutter, wife of Preston Nutter, was a telegrapher and manager of the Colorado Springs Postal Telegraph Company's office during the Cripple Creek, Colorado mining boom. After the death of her husband she became president of the Preston Nutter Corporation, a large cattle ranching corporation. |
