Description |
Patients suspected for neurosarcoidosis may also be diabetic. Correct interpretation of CSF levels of ACE may aid in the future diagnosis of patients with diabetes and neurosarcoidosis, and thus ensure treatment with steroids for neurosarcoidosis will not be given to diabetics with falsely-elevated ACE levels. |
