Sophomore Amanda Fiegt led the way, scoring 15.75 total points. Fiegt dabbled in several events, scoring points in all of them and setting the school record in the 400 twice. She finished third in the long jump (6.00m), fourth in the 400 (56.58) and fifth in the triple jump (11.81m). Fiegt also was a member of Utah's sixth-place (3:53.92) 4x400 relay team. Senior Elise Greenwood-Bahr contributed 11 points to Utah's total, by competing in the distance events. Greenwood-Bahr finished third in the 5K (16:44.58) and fourth in the 3K (10:21.00). She recorded career bests in both events. Senior Candice Workman-Ekberg led the throwing squad with seven points. Workman-Ekberg finished third in the shot put with 14.63m and eighth in the weight throw with 17.08m. Junior Vanessa Mortensen added three points to Utah's score with a sixth-place finish in the weight throw (17.33m). Sophomore Jennie Haertel continued to perform in the mile event, scoring four points with a fifth-place finish (5:09.08). Sophomore Amanda Feigt won the long jump with an impressive 19' 4.00" distance. Katy Barton followed Feigt with a fourth-place finish with 19' 2.00" mark. Sophomore Susan Atwater had a strong meet in the pole vault, finishing second overall with 11' 8.00". |
