In three interviews, Normand L. Gibbons (b. 1931) talked about his boyhood in St. George, Utah and the influence of his parents in shaping his humanitarian and educational philosophy and practices; his time spent on a church mission, military service, and graduate education; and his work with students at Cyprus High School which led to his career in student services at the University of Utah.
