Description Optociliary shunt vessels are classically encountered in individuals with intra-orbital or intra-canalicular optic nerve compression. Occasionally they occur congenitally, in which case they are not usually associated with visual loss. We report two novel etiologies of this rare optic nerve abnormality. Methods: Retrospective chart review in a clinical neuro-ophthalmology practice.
