Description |
Involvement of the frontal eye fields (FEF), supplementary eye fields (SEF), parietal eye fields (PEF) and to a lesser extent the basal ganglia is now well established during execution of saccadic eye movements. However, the precise functional specialization of these structures is still under debate. We tested the hypothesis that specific networks subserve selection, preparation and execution of horizontal visually guided saccades. |
