Eccles related to his statement opposing escalation of United States involvement in the Vietnam conflict written in December of 1965, arranged alphabetically by correspondent (McClure to McWilliams). Includes a pamphlet entitled "Vietnam: Challenge to the conscience of America," published in 1967 by the Friends Committee on Legislation, and a typescript (33 pages) of a speech by Everett C. McKeage entitled, "Vietnam and the conscience of the American people revisited," typed Dec. 10 and delivered 21 December 1965 over Berkeley radio station KPFA.
