Description |
The manufacture of zinc oxide is one of the most important industries in the world today. In France and Belgium zinc oxide is made entirely from burning metallic zinc (opelter) and catching the pure zinc oxide in bags; while in the United States it is made chiefly from zinc ores by a direct process. |
