Subject |
Thrombolysis; Artery Occlusion; Randomized Controlled Trial |
Description |
Central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) results in a sudden, painless loss of vision and bears a poor prognosis with over 80% of affected persons having a final visual acuity of counting fingers or worse. A meta-nalysis of all reported cases suggests that vision improvement occurs in 48.5% of patients treated with intravenous thrombolysis. |
