Description Diffraction Enhanced Imaging (DEI) is a novel synchrotron radiation (SR) technique that provides high spatial resolution images without serious radiation exposure. This allows for investigation of micro structures inside weakly absorbing samples, and has potential for finely detailed imaging of the optic nerve.
