Sacajawea (Gravestone). At Fort Washaki, Wyoming. In 1946 President George Albert Smith & Party went to find the grave of Washaki. Here they have found the graves of Sacajawea and her son, Bazil. Sacajawea-born c. 1784. Died 1884 (100 years old). Bazil died-1886 (at 86 years of age) Buried at Shoshone Indian Reservation at Wind River Wyoming. This complete annotation is in error. Sacajawea was buried in the Mandan Country of South Dakota. She died (according to Blanche sharer's Sacajawea, in "Wyoming" magazine, Dec. Jan, 1978) when 25 years of age-Dec, 20, 1812.
