Heber and Rowena Haws Wedding

Heber Bertel Haws and Rowena Virginia Larsen Haws on their wedding day in September of 1914. The met while they both were serving missions in Missouri. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Heber Bertel Haws was born May 11, 1889 in Heber City, Wasatch, Utah. His parents were Albert and Harriet Mayberry Haws. He filled a mission to the state of Missouri. Heber met Rowena Larsen while they were both serving missions in that state. Rowena was from Tremonton, Utah. They were married on September 11, 1914 after completing their missions. He died on November 26, 1918 from influenza leaving his wife and two small children. He is buried in the Vernal Memorial Park. ]
