Two short stories

I created two short stories for my Honors project because I have never written fiction before. As an undergraduate student of literature at the University of Utah, I learned to write about fiction, but I never understood the fascinating process of creating fiction. Each of my stories represents a different approach to writing fiction. The first is based on a personal incident. The second is entirely fictitious. Writing as a novice, I found the former approach easier.
