Alta Rust

Alta C. Rust has been chosen as Utah Mother of the Year. She is the wife of Richard Rust. She is the mother of five sons. She and her husband moved to Vernal in 1937. Her husband died in 1951 leaving her with five boys to raise. She has been a public nurse for the the schools and Uintah County for eighteen years. She is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
