Eagle's view of Deer Creek (Utah) damsite where a 150-foot earth-fill dam will provide a reservoir to serve the supplemental irrigation needs of 36,000 acres in the Utah and Salt Lake Valleys. The Bureau of Reclamation is building this dam on the Provo River. Material excavated for placement of the relocated railroad will be used for dam construction. The railroad is shown beside the diverted river. (Provo, Utah.) |
