Scans of letters to and from Federal Reserve Chairman Marriner S. Eccles in connection with his giving a speech at a meeting of the National Tax Association held at the University of Minnesota in Saint Paul on October 14, 1941. The letters mostly involved arrangements in advance of his participation. Includes a typescript (12 pages) of an outline of the speech with title, "Financing defense in the United States during the present emergency."
