| Description |
Ogden Canyon Paved Road. A beautiful paved road from Ogden through the world-renowned canyon to the forks of the Huntsville and Eden roads was completed 19 July 1921. A fitting celebration was held in our meeting house 25 July 1921. Ogden City (our only competitor in Weber County) assisted and did a great deal towards making it such a pronounced success. One of the largest and most elaborate parades ever witnessed in this region took place that day. Governor Charles R. Mabey, Mayor Frank Francis and other distinguished personages were present and participated in the exercises. |
