The Utes were led by the 32nd-place performance of freshman Sarah Feeny. who finished 32nd overall in a time of 22:08.79. Feeny was in sixth-place with 600-meters left to go, but couldn't hold on in the final stretch and fell to 32nd. Feeny just missed qualifying for the 2014 NCAA Championships later this month. Finishing second for Utah and 37th overall was sophomore Jessica Sams. Coming off arguably her best race at the Pac-12 Conference Championships two weeks ago, Sams had another outstanding performance with a time of 22:14.75. Crossing the line third for the Utes and 43rd overall was senior Rebekah Winterton. Rounding out the top five runners for Utah were Nikki Rietz in 59th (22:36.35) and Shaylen Crook in 75th (22:56.68). Lauren Mills finished in the 78th spot with a time of 22:59.20, followed by Hannah McInturff who finished 86th clocking a time of 23:04.43. |
