Description The Morgan-Henefer area described in this report includes about 130 square miles in Townships 3, 4 and 5 north, Ranges 2, 3, and 4 east, Salt Lake Meridian, Morgan and Summit Counties, Utah. (See Plate 4). The area is located 25 miles northeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. Morgan Valley and East Canyon bound the west sides of the area, the Lost Creek and Henefer Valleys bound the east side; Norwood Canyon is the extreme south boundary, and Durst Mountain lies on the north line.
