Julius Orran Murray ( 1909-2002) dressed in Ute Tribal attire. Julius was born in Laytonville, California on July 17, 1909. His parents were Tecumseh and Annie L. Reed Murray. He married Mary on May 9, 1932. He enlisted in the US Navy and was a Ceebee during World War II. He was the Sun Dance Medicine Man and enjoyed participating in the Sun Dance. Their children are Franklin D. Murray Sr. Barbara Jean Murray Tabet, Raymond Murray, Julius R. Murray Jr., Larry D. Murray, Rosemary Murray Murdock, and Constance Eli Murray Eaton. |
