Description |
The Measure Up Pressure Down (MUPD) Campaign was created by the American Medical Group Foundation (AMGF) in 2012 to engage medical groups and health systems across the nation to achieve control of 80 percent of high blood pressure patients by 2016. A 2.9% improvement in compliance was seen with interventions. However, more improvement is needed to reach 80% compliance. Areas for continued improvement include: ongoing education of staff, providers, and patients, new techniques to address white coat hypertension, and guideline for specialty clinics to identify hypertension and arrange for treatment options. |
