Susanna Bransford married Albion Emery, who had been bookkeeper for the Daly Mine in Park City, Utah. Susie, as Susanna was known, and Albion were offered a chance to buy shares in the Mayflower Mine, later incorporated as the Silver King Mine, which made them a fortune. Susie became well-known for her extravagance, fabulous homes, multiple marriages, and societal connections. |
