| Description |
Utah's first sugar factory, opened Oct. 1, 1891. It manufactured 10,000 pounds during the season of 1901 and 21,000,000 pounds in 1903. The cost of the factory about $500,000. It became obsolete and was razed several years ago except for its storage rooms which were still used for sugar made at other plants. |
